Friday Fix-Up: Entryways Part 1

Everyone needs a place to keep their keys and contain the mail. A quick stop by the door to check your face as you fly out the door.

The mixture of the rustic sideboard (with plenty of storage) and shiny round lamp is a great mixture of textures and shapes. Also adding a touch of color with the matte blue vase and yellow tray to keep all the letters gives you a sophisticated, well maintained spot to keep all the things you need at a moments notice.  Personally- the owl key hook is the frosting on the cake. Always give a sentimental touch.

  1. The entry way is one of my favorite spaces in my house. We live in a 1934-Spanish style home in Los Angeles, and the built-in little niche has a shelf and mirror. Last check before I “fly out the door.” I love your yellow tray. Dare I say: Tray chic!
